Stephen Arnold

Stephen began practicing law in 2013 and has focused primarily on family law. He has been involved with all sorts of family law matters and has experience with negotiated resolutions, alternative dispute resolution (mediation) and litigation. These experiences have helped shaped Stephen’s belief in the value of the collaborative approach in not only allowing parties to achieve their goals exiting a relationship, but to do so in a way that avoids harsh and draining disputes.

Stephen believes that in a family law matter where parties do not cooperate or take a constructive approach, there cannot be a true winner given the emotional and financial upset that results. With this in mind, Stephen enjoys working with clients to problem solve and focus on practical solutions to difficult problems. The flexibility of the collaborative approach to include professionals helps to create sensible resolutions and minimize the disruption and upset that can come with a separation.

Outside of the practice of law, Stephen is a proud father of two young children and enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys participating in community events and venturing around the Grey Bruce area and beyond. He is proud to be in partnership with his father, Neil Arnold, and to have been around the office in various capacities since early high school.
